The ideal candidate will be the point of contact for colleagues and customers throughout the planning process for all types of events, meetings and conventions. This candidate will keep deadline schedules, provide feedback, documentation and information to effectively support all event management success. They will also work closely with sales teams to maximize performance and service to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sales team events and account activity.
- Assure quality of sales related information, follow-up and client communication
- Provide organization and detail summary and updates to client and sales team.
- Develop graphics, customized event signage, social media posts and execution.
- Receive and record payments for upcoming event deadlines, following established process.
- Organized record keeping and CRM (Salesforce) detailing pre- and post event.
- Creative idea generation for assisting effective sales outreach, research and information gathering on current and prospective business.
- Monitor weekly corporate business to help deepen relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Assist sales team to develop event orders with precise detail and pertinent information specific to the unique needs of the event, meeting or conference.
- Filter incoming phone inquiries, routing to the correct point of contact within the sales office.
- Support the Director of Sales by running reports, analyzing important data on designated schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years' experience in sales/administrative related role
- Well-organized with an aptitude in problem-solving and high attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
