SUMMARY: To solicit rooms and catering business for Innkeeper Hospitality Services, LLC.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing. • Responsible for the selling, planning and coordination of meetings, conferences, and event services. • Responsible for all aspects of the event from conception, planning, inter-department communications for execution of the event and post event follow-up. • Expected to increase revenues and client base through direct personal sales, telemarketing, cold calling, inquiries, lead referrals, maintaining and expanding current account base, networking and continuous marketing and promotion. • Management of Personal Account base and Event Calendar. • Direct other sales personnel at the lead of the Director of Sales & Marketing to manage revenues and coordinate bookings, sales promotions, lead referrals, and special projects. • Coordinate all sales correspondence from proposal to contract to follow-up. • Provide tour of the facility. • Plan all aspects of the events including and not limited to set up, food and beverage, décor, AV, set up and tear down and billing procedures. • Prepare all written inter departmental correspondence necessary to execute the event i.e.: Banquet Event Orders (BEO), contracts, proposals, billing instruction, changes, special needs, groups resume, etc. • Attend all meetings necessary for the proper execution of the event. • Prepare and provide reports, sales projections call reports, and special projects. • Review and understand Innkeeper Hospitality Services, LLC.’s marketing plan and goals. • Advise Director of Sales & Marketing of event trends, scheduling concerns, special group requirements, guest complaints, sales opportunities, and quality issues in a timely manner. • At the discretion of the Director of Sales & Marketing and the demands of the event, attend events booked by you to assure client satisfaction. • Provide input regarding revenue forecasts, budgeting, menus, packages, industry trends, marketing, advertising, and programs. • Ensure effective fiscal management of all budgetary elements related to the Catering Sales Manager function. • Attend Trade Shows and Industry related events. • Responds promptly to all inquiries, lead referrals, and existing clients in a timely manner, resulting in documentation of all communication. • Attends daily and weekly sales/revenue meetings. • Negotiates guest room rates, food and beverage prices, meeting room rental, function space and hotel services within approved booking guidelines • Monitors room blocks and pick-ups for all groups through rooming lists and cut-off dates for all bookings. • Works with reservations department to properly ensure the implementation of all group room blocks and local negotiated rate agreements. • Conducts quarterly sales blitzes to increase rooms and/or catering revenues towards an identified market segment. • Creates quarterly action plans and goals and properly tracks them with results.
